Munday’s Motivation: AfFORmations Instead Of Affirmations

Most people would know about positive self talk and affirmations to help you get success. This way of thinking is along the lines of what you’ll find in books like Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth Munday’s Motivation: AfFORmations Instead Of Affirmations

So this new line of thinking is something I came across a little while ago when listening to an audio by Noah St John. At first I was thinking “yeah okay” but I promised myself to give it a try.

Noah has a theory that Afformations work better than Affirmations. Noah believes that Afformations mean “To form or to give shape to”.

So it basically means to ask empowering questions because your brain responds better to questions rather than statements – or affirmations.

Instead of asking yourself negative questions like “Why am I so broke” or “Why am I so fat and unattractive” it means asking yourself the opposite – “Why am I so wealthy” or “Why I am so slim and irresistable”.

This asking of the question gets your brain thinking of reasons why the question is true.

I did it myself just last week when I was trying to think of ways to maximise my business, and the people that I can reach, this year.

Sure enough after asking the question I had a brainstorm of ideas to write down, and now take action on.

So my challenge for you today is to watch the video below if you have the time and then to work out how these afformations can change your life, your body, whatever your main goal is for this year.

What better way to keep the motivation rolling past the usual New Years Resolution hump which so often happens in February.

Let’s say you ask yourself “Why am I so thin and attractive?” – An answer may be because you choose to follow a healthy eating plan rather than eating rubbish for lunch.

You will also choose to do your gym workout routine rather than skipping them and heading to the pub with the rest of your friends. You can always join them there later right?

It will also answer because you get to bed early each night and get at least 7 hours of sleep.

It’s because you choose to eat a quick healthy dinner each night rather than getting takeaway on the way home.

Ask these positive questions and you’ll find the answers.
