Healthy Eating Tips: Quick Lunch Meal

This is the perfect meal for you to cook for a quick healthy lunch when you’re at home.

So today I bring you the “Steak Sandwich With a Difference” in another quick healthy meals edition.

This should take no more than 6 minutes to cook but the preparation time is going to vary depending on how you like your steak cooked.

All I did was season the pan with Olive Oil and throw the steak in.

For a bit of flavour on the steak I sprinkled some cracked black pepper and drizzled some American mustard on each side and left it to cook – flipping it over once to get both sides cooked.

Once it was done to my satisfaction – medium well – I got a big lettuce leaf from the fridge and wrapped it around the steak.

Lunch was done. And I didn’t even have to having bread as part of my ’sandwich’ concoction. I reveal why you don’t need bread in this direct link to the War Against Wheat video.

Now granted, you have to be at home to prepare this meal but when you are in a hurry or if you work at home or are a stay at home mum, or even on your weekends, this is the perfect eat healthy recipe.

I guess I could have got even more creative and chopped up some other salad or cooked up some onions to put on there like on a real steak sandwich but it still tasted great and when you add a piece of fruit to follow it down with it makes for a pretty satisfying meal.
